Harlem-bred emcee, donSMITH and Mogul Club artist, History are here to bring that old school vibe with some fire punchlines on their new collab titled, ‘OG>IG’. This track pays tribute to the local residents and businesses of uptown, NYC. It is the second track off the new EP, “Dear Culture”. The visual is fire and really brings the track to life with it’s vintage filters and style of editing. The views of uptown NYC take over the visual making you appreciate the historic area. Each verse brings its own style and fire flow to the track that creates a must listen to hit.

The second cut from donSMITH‘s latest COVID-19 relief fundraiser-driven EP, Dear Culture. Using the EP presales and donations, donSMITH partnered with non-profit, Fresh Youth Initiative, to raise more than $6,000 for latinx families devastated by COVID-19 in June and July.

According to the press release, ln 2019, after headlining his first mini-tour, donSMITH saw his most successful year in streaming on Spotify, releasing two songs, amounting to over 22K streams. This created anticipation for his upcoming EP, “Dear Culture”.

donMSITH has been performing all throughout New York City for years after his headlining his first mini-tour. In 2018, The Harlem MC released vol. 1 & 2 of his “#whoisdonSMITH” mixtape/EP series, gaining over 40K cumulative streams in the first two weeks of their digital releases. This is such a sick record especially with the sample we all know and love riding the beat so effortlessly. You need this on your playlist right now.
