“Reveries” is an emotional masterpiece about a relationship in crisis. A calm guitar and a warm voice tell a confessional story of someone who is struggling with mental health issues and is unable to express feelings. The first line: “I’ll let you wander through my thoughts and find your way” is a desperate message from someone who believes their partner will only understand them if they manage to read their thoughts, see their dreams. “Reveries” is the first part of a project called Private Conversations.
Marcel Alan is a singer-songwriter currently based in Szczecin, Poland. He is now working on two albums. The first one is a compilation of instrumental tracks about Polish cities. The second, “Private conversations” is an intimate album about failing relationships.
